Thanks for the message. What s the first adaptor about? I know FreeBSD 
supports variety of Ethernet Adaptor, including bge (boardcom). I 
installed FreeBSD 5.3 on a HP proliant 10 months ago for my client, the 
machine has bge ethernet adaptor and it works great.
