On a fresh FreeBSD 4.8-20030313-RC installation, everytime a linux
binary is run, core is dumped, and "Bad system call" error message,
is emitted and a 0 length file is left in the directory (if it happens to
be writable by the user). The 0 length files file name is always
????????????.

The linux binaries in question are the various netscapes
installed from /usr/ports, and realplayer8 linux binaries
downloaded from the net.

Kldstat shows:

Id Refs Address Size Name
 1 3 0xc0100000 4e9fac kernel
 2 1 0xc23ae000 7000 linprocfs.ko
 4 1 0xc2430000 15000 linux.ko

Any info on this?

Cheers,

Joe
