I'm asking what it is > about 4.0 that you find more unstable *once it is installed*. Nothing. Having just barely escaped being completely scared off 4.0, I installed a minimal 3.4 from CD, successfully jumped through the upgrade hoops, and now have 4.0 up and running, and it seems just fine. My complaint/problem, and this may have got lost somewhere along the way, was about the upgrade process/documentation. -- When asked if it is true that he uses his wheelchair as a weapon he will reply: "That's a malicious rumour.
