Dear all,

I'm intending to switch on the $FreeBSD$ contraction code within the
next few days.  For those that are unaware of what this is it's a
modification to the CVSROOT scripts to translate $FreeBSD: .... $ strings
back to $FreeBSD$ (unexpanded) before committing the code to the
repository.  Without this the the whole strings gets added to the
repository verbatum, which then causes problems during merges, etc,
later on, and appears as a change in 'cvs diff'.

I will commit the following patch unless I receive objections of a
sufficient magnitude.
