I'm kinda stuck here, i've got the latest version of the FreeBSD JDK from http://www.freebsd.org/java but it won't let me install the BDK (java beans devel kit) i was wondering if anyone has had success? right now i'm running a 3.0-current just recompiled as of last night. bascally the VM crashes right after the splashscreen comes up for the installer program, if anyone is interested i have a dump of what goes wrong, it is always the same and always happens at the same point. also, if someone could please point me towards where i need to sign up to be able to look at the JDK's source so i might be able to help if possible. i really want this to work, and since i consider my win32 system totally useless and the enviorment detrimental to my productivity helping out with the JDK port seem high on my list. oh, and last thing, are the threads implemented by our JDK pre-emptive or co-operative? -Alfred To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
