I'm attempting to setup a vinum volume over four scsi drives (da1 = through da4) -- when I use disklabel to change the type from 'unused' to = ' vinum', the disklabel -e <drive> works okay for da1, da2 and da3. = When I get to da4, it complains miserably -- so I tried disklabel -e = da4s1 and this contains what I expect. Is it normal to change the = label'ing after the 4th disk (da4 would be the 5th disk)? Any reason = for this inconsistency -- it surely complicates matters for those = unfamiliar with the internals of FBSD. --=20 Tim Strike (tstrike@zaq.com) Director of Production, ZAQ Interactive Solutions T: +1 416 504-7474 extension 903 F: +1 416 504-4646 ------------------------------------------------------------------- This information is confidential and for the exclusive use of the=20 person to whom it is addressed.
