This is the basic gist of my SCSI controller and disk drive: ahc0: <Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI adapter> rev 0x01 int a irq 11 on pci0.16.0 ahc0: aic7880 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs da0 at ahc0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0 da0: <CONNER CFP4207S 4.28GB 1524> Fixed Direct Access SCSI-2 device da0: 3.300MB/s transfers, Tagged Queueing Enabled da0: 4096MB (8388608 512 byte sectors: 255H 63S/T 522C) I have the BIOS set for slow transfers to this drive. The reason is not particularly important. And today it did this: (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): SCB 0x15 - timed out while idle, LASTPHASE == 0x1, SEQADDR == 0x9 (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): Queuing a BDR SCB (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): Bus Device Reset Message Sent (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): no longer in timeout, status = 34b ahc0: Bus Device Reset on A:0. 31 SCBs aborted I'm tracking STABLE, running 3.2-BETA. I suppose it could be a hardware problem, but I've never had any such problem before.
