after peeping around the code a bit im quite certain my patch is utter garb=
age
even if it may allow this module to function. i have not had a chance to use
the package tho as i opted just to stick with 3.11 for now

i'd say databases/py-gdbm, databases/py-sqlite3 & lang/python-tools seem the
"most similar". i will poke around some more this evening and report back

i dont daily Python or C and where they meet i'm a complete novice. advanced
gratitude for they who resolve this minor mystery
