Mike, You can use wget to mirror the handbook portion of the freebsd.org site to your pc so that you can browse it locally. I believe that you would want the "-m -np" switches, but you should check the man page anyway (I have a tendency to be wrong). HTH! =========== Just another TROLL (according to some), Michael Oliver -----Original Message----- From: mike e [mailto:aztektum@hotmail.com] Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2002 10:57 PM To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org Subject: Greetings from a newuser Hello I recently started using FreeBSD after using Linux for a year or so but not being satisfied with the differences in all the diff. distributions. I have Ver. 4.4 that came with FreeBSD Unleashed book I purchased from Sam's Publishing and so far I'm flying through the book and really enjoying this OS, but I'm curious if there's a way to get the FreeBSD Handbook that's on the freebsd.org website on a cd or if it's been published by anyone. I'd just like to add it to my reference material. Thanks. And yes I realize this is a MSN Hotmail account :) -mike e. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
