1.1. You should send questions you have to 
questions@freebsd.org, and you may find useful also the 
newbies@freebsd.org. (send a mail to majordomo@freebsd.doc 
with subscribe questions and subscribe newbies in the body)
1.2. It is better to do the following before asking questions on the 
question list:
-Read the "Complete FreeBSD", by Greg Lehey, it`s  in /book on 
the first CD (it`s one of the best computer book i`ve ever seen) and 
is containing all the things you want to know about installing and 
many, many other things.
-Read the FAQ on the www.FreeBSD.org (you can find it also on 
your disk after installing the system :-(  )
-Search the mailing list archive.
Question is the place where you will get help from others users 
(some gurus), in 99% very good answers.

2.  Newbies is the meeting place for new users.

3.  Doc is for the documentation project, not for questions.
