Is some other netgraph node already connected to the 'orphans'
hook of fxp0: ? Are you trying to create more than one PPPOE link
on the same Ethernet interface?
What is the output of "ngctl ls | grep fxp0 | awk '{print $NF}'" ?
If it's not zero when mpd tries to start up the link then it won't work.
