            Bug ID: 272647
Summary: KMSAN appears to be broken in LLVM 16
           Product: Base System
           Version: CURRENT
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: bin
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: markj@FreeBSD.org

The amd64 KMSAN CI job has been failing since the LLVM 16 import:
https://ci.freebsd.org/job/FreeBSD-main-amd64-KMSAN_test/4382/console

I reproduced it locally and dug into it, and the root cause looks very much=
 to
me like a side effect of an LLVM bug. I submitted a minimized bug report:
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/64019

Hopefully it will be fixed soon, I can't see any good workarounds on the
FreeBSD side. This bug report is just to track the issue on the FreeBSD si=
de,
in case other folks run into it.
