I remember adding the port because someone added it to the WantedPorts wiki page. The port broke relatively often. In 2019 it broke with the next octave update. I wrote a couple of messages to dynare developers but got no response. I ended up giving up. In all that time I only received a mail from mack@ because dynare needed changes after a matio update. I never received a complaint about the port either.
