Right now the PPC port of FreeBSD is still preliminary, though it's
slated for inclusion (in what form I don't know) in 5.0-RELEASE.  As
far as real, running BSD OSen for Macs, there's NetBSD and OpenBSD.
Also, there's also Mac OS X, with which you can get to a shell and thus
have a BSD-type OS on the Mac that was written for the Mac.  You can
also use X and run the wm of your choice.
