There is no conflict with other SCSI devices; the ppa driver is just 
another SCSI adapter as far as that's concerned.

The ppa driver is not being developed any further.  It works quite 
well, but it is obsoleted by the ppbus-based vpo driver in -current.

vpo drives both the old Parallel port Zip as well as the Jaz Traveller; 
ppa also works with these.  The new Zip Plus is only supported in SCSI 
mode at the moment, although parallel support is under devlopment.
