Hi! I upgraded my desktop machine from 10.1 to 10.2-RC2. I love the new autofs master map type of -media. From the command line, I can reach my pendrives and other removable media. But I'd like to know, how to integrate this mechanism into a DE? I use XFCE, but I'm interested in GNOME or KDE, too. Integration: - it means here - when I push a thumbdrive in, I'd like to see a new icon (or more icons, if there are more mountable partitions on the media) on the desktop of the DE; and of course, clicking on that icon, the DE should open the filemanager with the mounted directory of that media); and the other way, most modern DE's filemanager has an "umount" function - so I'd like to know how to use them with autofs - if at all, possible. Thanks, Gábor < Gabor at Zahemszky dot HU >
