I just want to add a voice to this. Not only do all of my machines have the "client" syslogs -s sending to the "server" syslog which is not, I recommend this configuration highly to all of my customers, especially for machines that are out on the net. I realize that it's not possible for any one person to know how every other user sets up their system, so I figured I'd throw this in. :) Doug -- *** Chief Operations Officer, DALnet IRC network *** *** Proud designer and maintainer of the world's largest Internet *** Relay Chat server with 5,328 simultaneous connections. *** Try spider.dal.net on ports 6662-4 (Powered by FreeBSD) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
