Is there a way to generate an ethernet packet, with an unsupported protocol through a user level program? I attempted to generate an ethernet packet by opening a socket by calling socket(AF_UNSPEC, SOCK_RAW, PF_UNSPEC), and it fails with a protocol unsupported. Is there a way using standard socket calls to write ethernet packets? If not, is there any way to do it? Any source code as examples? Thanks Michaelhome | help
