There are companies all around the world that have to deal with
coopetition issues, and the internal "Chinese Walls" that they have
to erect to make sure that the part that has the insider access
doesn't unduly influence the rest of the business or give them
inappropriate access to information, etc....

This happens all the time in the financial world, where companies
do *daily* turnover of hundreds of billions of dollars. Your little
pissant complaints about these sorts of problems in another context
don't amount to a hill of beans compared to this. Get over it.

All we have to do is make sure that the FreeBSD Core Team (and
the FreeBSD Foundation) fulfill their fiduciary obligations, and use
whatever methods are necessary to ensure that the early access to
this kind of information does not give an unfair advantage to any of
the involved companies.

I'm sure they're already very well aware of these facts, and your
loudly moaning and bitching about this in public isn't going to teach
them anything they don't already know far better than you ever could.
