Dear FreeBSD,

Here's my 2 cents towards your objective of makeing FreeBSD an easy to
install system.

I'm trying to install FreeBSD on my home machine connected to work via
a 28.8 SLIP connection. I have installed FreeBSD at work before and I
must say that it was very easy to install on machines that have an
ethernet connection.

SLIP on the otherhand I'm not finding so easy. What I'm trying to do
now is to follow the directions for "Installing From a MS-DOS"
partition. The problem is that this assumes you've got a CD-ROM to
copy the distribution from. I'm lookng for the place where I can ftp
a base system from and then ftp other packages as I need them. I know
that this can take a while over a modem and am will to wait for it,
but changing to PPP is something I'd like to wait till I have a stable
system running.

Thanks,
Keith
