Carr <jfc@mit.edu> --- When I ran "git reset --hard" to recover the partially extracted repository I got one of the crashes from bug #276420: panic: VERIFY(zio->io_stall == NULL) failed The underlying problem seems to be that my server with lots of memory and CPU is incapable of writing 10 gigabytes of data to a spinning disk without crashing.
