During high network throughput (about 50mbit/s) one of my boxes just dies. This is why it always crashes when doing backups and I had to put the backup computer to 10mbit half-duplex mode to get it work... This box has 3 intel eepro NICs. I've tried switching NICs, cables and the switch (a HP procurve), but it doesn't help. The only thing that solves my problems is using some NICs other than the eepros... I really haven't tested, but I think I should check the amount of interrupts occuring on this box to check if it always fails at similar levels, afaik the BP6 ain't the most stable mobo out there.
