 Naturally, i would tend to oppose against this proposal (for the very
 same and thus equally valid arguments as you -- only seen from the
 other side of the pond, from the 20th century with a ``metric'' world
 :-).
 
 Perhaps we should tweak our ports to use a PAPERSIZE env variable to
 base their decisions upon?
