I just tried = Adium on macOS and that seems to be having trouble so I=E2=80=99ll try = on linux next. I unplugged the Apple Cinema Display USB hub and the apple keyboard from = the front and plugged a Sun USB keyboard into the rear and it worked! Not sure which of those caused the USB trouble.
