If you want to use sup.  You can also do a standard ftp install through
the boot floppy (which IMHO would be a better way to go rather than
waiting for the tree to build).  Just back up /etc before starting.

Besides that, the example supfile shouldn't be used stock; you should
modify it for the distributions you want and for a close supsite (don't
use sup.freebsd.org if you can help it, it's _very_ loaded!).
