https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D249142 Bug ID: 249142 Summary: sysutils/beats7: filebeat rc.d script missing -f flag to daemon Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: elastic@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd.org@neant.ro Assignee: elastic@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(elastic@FreeBSD.org) The rc.d filebeat script should probably pass the -f flag to daemon command, which would send stdout and stderr to /dev/null. Because it's missing, at l= est SaltStack is hanging indefinitely on service start/restart. See https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/47445: > I've found the problem. The rc.d script was not written properly. The com= mand /usr/sbin/daemon should have '-f' flag to redirect stdout to /dev/null. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
