>Description:
I'm not sure if this is an enhancement request or a bug, but the
/sys/net/if_loop.c's "loopattach" function gives a strong hint that the
synopsis of the lo(4) man page could (or should?) be changed from
pseudo-device loop
to
pseudo-device loop [ count ]
like the ppp pseudo-device has.
The hint is confirmed by the page's "Description" section which mentions
"lo%d" in an error message. (I guess FreeBSD users are presumed to know
"printf".)

>Fix:
Determine whether the optional count is really supported and if it is,
then change the synopsis line as above and probably change the comment
about 127.0.0.1 to 127.0.0.<interface#+1> (?).
