The is a p2p application that runs on the freeBSD server and it's controlled from various other such a java application or a simple web client or the telnet interface. The point here is that it does NOT provide any GUI native, just a pure p2p application. the name is mlDonkey. I like the idea of having a core applications separated from the GUI alot, but don't fancy mlDonkey too much. So my question is: Are there any more p2p applications out there, that doesn't require the GUI to be run on the same machine?
