Do you perhaps mean > 'hw.acpi.cpu.cx_supported' because that does exists here. I don't know why I came to that conclusion. I don't think it has anything to do with powerd. The only mention of cx_supported in the entire source tree is in power_profile (as linked above) and in acpi_cpu.c: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/acpica/acpi_cpu.c.diff?r1=1.57.2.1&r2=1.57.2.2&sortby=date&f=h I don't know if it has anything to do with that. Anyway power_profile (called by devd afaik) seems to need it, but it doesn't exist.
