I took over maintaining the Docker port a few days ago. I had another Docker port almost ready to use on FreeBSD about 2 years ago. Here, however, little time and too little manpower was the reason that it could not be implemented. I would like to make a new attempt to make the Docker port usable. Currently I would not recommend to use it in a productive environment, because it is also relatively expensive. However, I don't want to make any promises that this time I will succeed in getting Docker running on FreeBSD so that it can be used productively.
