Nope tmpfs is just another user of RAM and will be swapped according to memory pressure just like any other user of RAM - IOW if you have a tmpfs half the size of your memory that isn't too busy and processes keeping most of your memory busy then likely you'll find tmpfs data swapped out. -- Steve O'Hara-Smith <steve@sohara.org>
