Hi,

I use the user mode ppp to connect to a linux box running pppd 2.2.0f.

After a while ppp on the FreeBSD machine says:

08-02 14:53:06 [2055] Unknown protocol 0x000d
08-02 14:53:06 [2055] LCP: SendProtoRej
08-02 14:53:06 [2055] Unknown protocol 0xc261
08-02 14:53:06 [2055] LCP: SendProtoRej

and dumps core! :/

I have disabled and denied lqr and pred1 on the FreeBSD machine. The
FreeBSD version is one of the last SNAPs before 2.1.0-RELEASE
(sorry, not sure). I tried to use the 2.1.5-R binary of ppp, but
it also dumps core.

I added "-vj -bsdcomp -pred1comp" to the pppd call on the linux machine
and now it seems to work fine.

Bye,
Knarf
