I've been hacking on the IBM LANstreamer for the past week or so and have something that transmits and receives. I thought I'd make the code availble for anyone that wants to try it out as I suspect I've got one or 2 bugs in the RX mbuf management code. I'd also like to solicit users with FDX token-ring switches and these cards. Email me directly. Known problems: - receiving packets larger than 2k doesn't work yet. - low throughput. - ifmedia stuff doesn't yet work. - feature minimal. - no support for the MCA version of this adapter. - unloading module may leak memory. I'm still sorting out some of the code layout and abstraction between the OS dependent portion of the driver and the independent portion. ftp://ftp.jurai.net/users/winter/if_lns/lns.tar.gz Untar the tar-file and build the module in the module directory. -- | Matthew N.
