Hello, for the text consoles I have setup blank_saver but for X DPMS. The X DPMS values are as follows: DPMS (Energy Star): Standby: 4444 Suspend: 0 Off: 0 DPMS is Enabled Sometimes when I return to the station after X has switched to standby mode I can wake X and start a new session. But when I switch to a text console it is like in standby mode and can't be woken up again even though I have only blank_saver running. Thereafter I can switch back to the X session on console 9 but the screen stays in suspend mode. I can also switch to text console 2, login and start X on console 10. But still the screen stays in suspend mode. Then I can issue a reboot. After the system starts up the screen reverts to normal display mode. On the console 9 there is gdm running. Sometimes I have a secondary X session on console 10 launched by startx. The X sessions will be terminated by xautolock. The console sessions have autologout activated. Has anybody an idea why the text consoles can lock in standby mode? -Hanspeter To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
