I have a Toshiba Tecra8000 as hardware and acpidump gives me: ---snip--- RSD PTR: Checksum=18, OEMID=TOSHIB, RsdtAddress=0x07ff0000 acpidump: RSDT is corrupted ---snip--- Drop me a line if you want me to dig deeper at stuff.
