One more question about the 'announcement' mail itself. Currently - since quite long time it contains the '=== Upgrading ===' part with freebsd-update(8) instructions to update FreeBSD. As the 'draft' for 'FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE Release Notes' - https://freebsd.org/releases/15.0R/relnotes/ - contain information that freebsd-update(8) will probably not going to exist in 15.0-RELEASE: "FreeBSD Update is probably not going to exist in 15.0-RELEASE!" IMHO the 'announcement' mail should now also (or only) have information how to properly update FreeBSD in a PKGBASE world with pkg(8) commands. Regards, vermaden
