Hello, This is the first time I am seeing a problem with running Acrobat Reader (on a fresh FreeBSD-8.3-i386 installation) : /root # Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "gnomesegvhandler": libgnomesegvhandler.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [1]+ Exit 1 acroread8 Running the linux version of Opera is even more disastrous : /root # linux-opera linux-opera linux-opera-widget-manager /root # linux-opera & [1] 2984 /root # opera [crash logging]: CRASH!! /usr/local/lib/linux-opera/opera got signal SIGSEGV at address 0841AA43 Can someone please help me out ? -- Regards, Manish Jain bourne.identity@hotmail.com
