Try to verify why it says corrupt, and that nothing is scribbling over the secondary table... dmesg -a | egrep '^ada0.*sect' gpart backup ada0 gpart show -p ada0 dd, hd - to extract and compare the gpt tables to spec man gpart restore -Fl https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUID_Partition_Table >> > 34 976773101 ada0 GPT (466G) [CORRUPT] > # gpart recover ada0 > ada0 recovered
