[-- Attachment #1 --] Folks, this bug was opened by Shon Elliott late last year. We've got the same problem. The hardware we're using is an IBM server xSeries 330 box with two PIIIs running at 800 MHz. This box was originally known as the Netfinity box before IBM changed its naming schema. The xSeries is quite popular and I therefore suspect that more and more people will experience this problem as time passes. Can somebody take a look at this problem? I should also add, that the last thing that shows on the console during the boot-up sequence is the message "waiting ... seconds for the SCSI devices to settle" and then nothing more ...
