I've been seeing these types of panics lately: Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mo.108.44 out via fxp0 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: fault code = supervisor write, page not present Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: instruction pointer = 0x8:0xc011ba78 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: stack pointer = 0x10:0xe38a2c98 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: frame pointer = 0x10:0xe38a2cb0 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: current process = 21114 (ircd) Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: interrupt mask = net Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: trap number = 12 Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: panic: page fault Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: Mar 6 15:58:01 viper /kernel: syncing disks... Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project. I'm almost 100% certain its not a hardware issues since i've replaced the motherboard, cpu, memory, all pci cards, even the power supply in the computer. The only thing not replaced is the Hard drive (IDE kind). Any clues? TIA Holt --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Try FREE Yahoo!
