Check out Mindterm: http://www.appgate.com/ag.asp?template=products&level1=product_mindterm It's not free, but it is a java ssh client. I haven't used it in a few years, but last I tried, it didn't work all that well with anything but the latest versions of Netscape and IE. I'd imagine they've worked out the bugs since.
