You can try just installing a 6.0 snapshot from either 
snapshots.jp.freebsd.org or snapshots.se.freebsd.org if you want to 
install 6.0.  If there isn't a recent snapshot available for 6.0 at 
those sites, then look for the latest monthly snapshot of 6.0 in 
pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/Mar_2005
