Uh, that warning is just that.  The driver should work in 3.2.

If someone can send me a board that uses the i8259[56] I'll get it working
with PCCARD.  I've checked the usual places and have been able to fill out
my collection of normal ISA Pro/10 and Pro/10+ boards but have located no
PCMCIA cards.  What model is yours?
