Just run portupgrade on 2 seperate machines and on both I see... firefox@FF_SUFX@ as the path for firefox when trying to launch from menu Error activating XKB configuration. Here is the output the dialog box requests... xprop -root | grep XKB _XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xorg", "pc105", "us", "", "" _XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xorg", "pc105", "us", "", "" gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd layouts = [us,gb,gb] model = pc105 overrideSettings = false options = [grp grp:alts_toggle] One machine hs been running 2.12 since it was announced as being in the main ports tree without this message, so something in yesterdays portupgrade has triggered it. Any ideas on fixing it? david
