My PC uses the same chipset.. & I have no problems with it on 4.7-RC2.. 
but I had to edit the code for it to work under 4.6.2 - my advise would 
be to wait for 4.7 or get 4.7-RC2 now.. pretty stable so far.. uptime: 
5days 17hrs 45mins 23secs :-)
