I created some downtime to test this and yes setting sysctl net.inet.tcp.sack.enable=0 has helped. I pumped a lot of data through the tunnel and it hasn't crashed so far. It would have crashed by now. I am just curious though, if the bug was already fixed, should I have to change this value or could something else be wrong with my install?
