If I only knew that. I just bought a cheapo one in a TV store and convinced
that it could read my tape and display to a TV (PAL) set.

So I suspect, it outputs PAL or something the TV set can cope with.

I will see tomorrow when I will take th VCR to the
machine in the campus and see what happens.
