Actually these are programs to check whether you're running some of the common DDoS agents - it doesn't protect against them, i.e. stop you from being vulnerable to infection by them (since they're installed manually by crackers). To protect against them you need to actually secure your machine and your network, heaven forbid :-) > Any comments?
