Just use it as before for some time and report if your kernel panicing or not
here.

This patch fixes panic caused by processing of unknown format PS\2 packets by
kernel driver. As my hardware was not able to send such a packets, I had to
simulate them. There is some probability that your unusual hardware sends some
data in unexpected format so in this case the patch would fix the panic for
you.
