Hello -

Is it possible that -CURRENT get the newest version of tar (1.13). The version -CURRENT is using now is 1.11.2, which is from 1993.

I am sure it runs better and has also has been updated to reflect the changes to the Unices over the years.

1.13: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/tar
1.13.19 (alpha): ftp://alpha.gnu.org/pub/gnu/tar

Thanks

- David
